Tod Castronovo, one of the founding partners of Shaver, Korff & Castronovo, obtained his BA degree Political Science from Bucknell University, and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Southwestern University School of Law. In 1981 he was admitted to the State Bar of California, the United States District Courts in California and the United States Supreme Court.
He is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and has arbitrated in excess of 75 uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, many involving SIU issues, handled numerous court trials on insurance coverage issues, and is ABOTA eligible. He has been a frequent speaker to insurance carriers on a wide range of issues, including duty to defend, bad faith, developments in California insurance law, handling of uninsured/underinsured motorist claims and prosecution of declaratory relief actions. Additionally, he as lectured at the Southern California IASIU divisional meetings and conferences in and out of California.
His areas of practice include personal injury, insurance coverage, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims.
