Eve Korff, one of the founding partners of Shaver, Korff & Castronovo, obtained her BPA from Wayne State University, and her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law. In 1989 she was admitted to the State Bar of California, the United States District Courts in California and the United States Supreme Court, and a member of the Washington DC Bar since 1990. Additional professional-related education includes Lawyering Skills Clinic, Staff Attorney, Syracuse University College of Law 1987-1988 and in 1992 Graduate of the National Institute For Trial Advocacy.
She is a member of the International Association of Special Investigation Units and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Since 2000 she has served on the Legal Advisory Board for the Journal of Controversial Medical Claims. She participated as a court sponsored mediator and arbitrator in programs at various courts in Los Angeles County. She was also a member of the Southern California Adjusters Association (SCAN) and gave presentations on numerous occasions at the local and national SCIFA Conferences. There are extensive seminars, speaking engagements and teaching opportunities that Eve has provided to insurance carriers in and out of California, the National Association of Insurance For Women (NAIW), the International Association For Fraud Units, SCIFA and IASIU. In 2010 she spoke at the Major League Baseball Winter Conference in Orlando, Floridea to the 30 national baseball league teams and their trainers, owners and counsel on medical fraud issues. She received the IASIU Defense Counsel of the Year Award 2010-2011.
Her areas of practice include personal injury, complex injury claims, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, and fraud through trial.
